Kaiserstuhl, Taubergießen and Black Forest

In April 2009 we visited the Kaiserstuhl area in south-west Germany. It has the warmest climate of all german regions and the nature has some mediteranian species.

The nearby nature reserve Taubergießen at the Rhine is one of the last riparian forests here around and famous for its orchids.

We did a second trip to the region in May 2010. I have addded some pictures.
